(originally TANABEYA Gohei), the forerunner of our company, was established in 1678 in Osaka, as a family business to produce and sell its proprietary TANABEYA Infusing Medicine, earning the trust of healthcare professionals, patients, their families, and other stakeholders. The new company name, “Tanabe Pharma,” reflects our commitment to further global growth as an R&D driven pharmaceutical innovator while honoring our legacy.
