By bridging geographical and cultural divides, we aim to facilitate meaningful interactions and partnerships across diverse sectors, including business, education, tourism, arts, and more. Through our platform, we offer a space where individuals, organizations, and businesses from Japan and South Asia can connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities. Japan-South Asia Network (JASAN) has decided to align its identification with the United Nations (UN) geoscheme for South Asia. According to the UN, South Asia comprises eight countries that share deep historical, cultural, and economic ties. As of today, JASAN includes the following countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
